The 2025 Creator Accelerator, run by Electrify's Creator Foundation in partnership with Changer Studios and YouTube, has wrapped its second cohort. Over 20 weeks, 24 creators from across North America participated in expert led sessions, practical learning and one to one mentorship. The result: greater confidence, deeper knowledge and renewed creativity as they continue to grow their YouTube channels.
This year’s cohort saw an 11.24% average subscriber increase, collectively gaining 149,000 new subscribers and 12.2 million additional views. Content output rose by 12.34%, as creators continued to produce high quality, informative and engaging content.
"I've grown my channel, my connections with other creators, and my confidence throughout this program in ways I never expected." said Rachel from Auxhart Gardening, who increased her channel’s retention rate from 25% to nearly 50% and launched her first digital product, making five sales shortly after launch. Her video on sustainable gardening, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, earned first place in the programme’s first social impact challenge.
The initiative also led to creative experiments and professional milestones: Animation Explained transitioned to full time content creation, and SciBytes secured his first brand sponsorship. Alumni shared meaningful mindset shifts, with Superdanger Studios noting, “It took a couple sessions for me to shed my ego, but once I did, there were huge gains to be had. There's a stark difference between my content before and after the accelerator.”
Designed to amplify voices in education across YouTube, the accelerator featured a high-caliber lineup of speakers to support creator development, including Linus Tech Tips (16.5M), YouTube’s Rene Ritchie, and strategists from top names in the Creator Economy.
The Electrify Creator Foundation looks forward to launching future programmes and welcoming new creators into its growing alumni community.
