What’s your role at Electrify and how does it connect to helping creators grow?

As Senior Video Editor and Producer my role involves overseeing all projects under the Mentour umbrella. This includes creative direction across episodes and ensuring that edits are in line with the Mentour brand. In this position I get the opportunity to empower, not only my own projects, but the creators within the team by encouraging creativity and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

How would you describe Electrify to someone who’s never heard of it?

Electrify is a group of industry professionals whose mission is to discover and cultivate the very best media talent on the planet. They empower all aspects of media development and content delivery by aiding elements of production which allows grassroots creators to focus on what they do best.

What makes working at Electrify different from anywhere else you’ve been?

Since Electrify is a remote working organisation it enables me to really take control of my work day. Work-life balance is much easier to get right and I get the chance to spend many more valuable hours with my family. (720 hours or 30 days in 2025 which would have been spent commuting in my previous role!) Electrify also has an outstanding environment for peer review and feedback which is invaluable to my own personal development.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone wanting to work in the creator economy?

From my perspective the creator economy is the single most exciting arena to be in. It is growing exponentially on a daily basis and the great thing about it is that you can jump in at any time.  This is because the creator community is so expansive and this allows a vast repository of knowledge and inspiration to grow and learn from the best. The great thing about Electrify is that you are constantly being exposed to these professionals who can give real-world testimony of the creator economy and empower those within it to grow in real-time with it.
